First, we took the kids to Universal Studios for a few days over Spring Break. They really loved it! I was surprised - I thought they'd like Disney better, but they had a blast. Riding in a car w/ Kyra though? Not so fun! She does not enjoy the car ride at all. She doesn't puke or anything, but she gets bored out of her mind within 20 minutes of departure so trying to entertain her for 8 hours is tough. Thankfully she fell asleep for 2 of those hours! Henry turned 7 in April - we had a Batman party for him... I will NOT get into it but the Batman I rented stunk to the high heavens and the kids were bored out of their minds until I let them run all around the house (inside & out) playing hide & seek. Henry however, absolutely loved the Bat Cave.
We recently took the kids to Patterson Farms to pick strawberries, play in corn & ride on a tractor. They LOVED it!!
It's hard to believe it's been two months since my last post... time flies... school will be ending soon and then we are in to summer camp & summer vacations!! Let the fun begin!!
