Trip to Rochester

Last year, I remember posting 7 days worth of posts - each day with their own entry and detail of events. However, we seem to do the same things every year when we go to Rochester: Spend time with my mom's family & then with my dad's family; go to the Red Wings game; go to the Children's Museum; go to the zoo; see my friends.

Since that is exactly what we did again this year, I'm not going to provide as much detail - you get the idea. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the week!

We spent Sunday at Nana & Hon's - playing wiffle ball in the front yard & then letting the kids swim in a kiddie pool.

My grandfather had as much fun as the kids did I think...

When they were done swimming, Kyra passed out first, then Henry later. The rest of us played 3 rounds of Eucher (the card game I know I've misspelled). My uncle & I were partners against my aunt & mom/grandfather combo. We won... but only after Hon played more...

On Monday we met Gina & her kids and spent the afternoon at Jeanine's... later that night, we met my mom's family for the baseball game.

On Tuesday we went to the Children's Museum... always so much fun!!

Everywhere we went, my children wanted to clean the house. Here they are cleaning my dad's bathroom & spare bedroom! They easily went through 2, maybe 3 rolls, of paper towels last week!

On Wednesday we met up with my cousin & her 2 girls for breakfast & playground time...

Then later that evening, I had some adult time with my friends!

Here's a little fact - the 2 girls on the left, I've known since 9th grade... the guy I'm sitting next to was my date to the senior prom!

On Thursday, I met 2 of my college roommates (and their children) who I haven't seen in over 15 years, at the Syracuse Zoo. In my opine, this zoo is not as good as the zoo in Rochester, but was the perfect, central meeting point & the kids seriously loved "milking" these fake cows & goats!

I think last year, when we returned, I posted a picture of Henry passed out upon our return home. This year, it was Kyra's turn!

Another great trip!!

I recognize those two girls on the left! I do not, however, recognize the guy you are sitting next to... Glad you had such a great time. By the way, YOU look FANTASTIC!

You are too kind Judi! Thank you! The guy I'm sitting next to was a year younger than us - Chris Casa. He also had hair back then! :)
